Transparent Base

It is a water based printing base used to achieve an elastic and soft touching effect in textile printing.
It can be used as a transparent or can be coloured with OP-FR series pigments.
Easy using during the print.
If cured correctly as advised, the dry-wet rubbing and washing fastness are high.
Rubbing and washing tests should be applied 24 hours after curing.
Suitable to ecological standards.

White

Does not dry during the print and block the screen.

Appearance : Transparent base
pH: 6,5-7 (25 °C/ 77˚F)
Density: 0,98 g/cm³ (25 °C/ 77˚F)
Viscosity: [(25 °C/ 77˚F) sp: 7, rpm: 20 Brookfield ] : 90.000 – 110.000 [mPa.s]

Appearance : White base
pH: 7-7,5 (25 °C/77˚F)
Density: 1,34 g/cm³ (25 °C/77˚F)
Viscosity: [(25 °C/77˚F) sp: 7, rpm: 4 Brookfield ] : 500.000 – 600.000 [mPa.s]

Transparent Base

Printing: In order to have more covering, colour productivity and elasticity in the print of GS 601
Transparent Base double print is advised with flash cure or GS 603 White must be printed as base print.
Screen: Silk screens that are made of 77 cm/200 inch mesh 48 micron silk – 90 cm/230 inch mesh 40
micron silk or 120 cm/305 inch mesh 34 micron silk should be used.
Squeegee: 67 – 77 Shore V type squeegee should be used.
Mixture: In need of improving elasticity of GS 603 White, GS 601 Transparent Base can be added.
To colour GS 601 Transparent Base, OP series (1-5 %) or FR series (5-15 %) pigments are added.
To reduce the viscosity, GS 600 Regulator can be added (1-3 %) into GS 601 Transparent Base.
Never use water to reduce the viscosity. Before use, please stir the ink well. Do not use any additives
that are not advised.
After using, the screen should be cleaned with the water.
Curing: Should be cured at 160 °C/320˚F for 1,5 minutes.

White

Printing: In order to have more covering, whiteness and elasticity in the print of GS 603 White
double print is advised with flash cure.
Screen: Silk screens that are made of 77 cm/200 inch mesh 48 micron silk – 90 cm/230 inch mesh 40
micron silk or 120 cm/305 inch mesh 34 micron silk should be used.
Squeegee: 67 – 77 Shore V type squeegee should be used.
Mixture: In need of improving elasticity of GS 603 White, GS 601 Transparent Base can be added.
To colour GS 603 White, OP series (1-5 %) or FR series (5-15 %) pigments are added.

It does not contain harmful substances for inhalation and skin when used. However in case of contact to
sensitive organs, such as eyes or mouth wash with plenty of water. If necessary, medical assistance is advised.
Keep containers dry and tightly closed. Store in a ventilated place between (+5)-(+30) °C/(+41)-(+86)˚F of
temperature.
It should be consumed within 12 months after the production date.
